Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care, monitor patients, and support the surgical and anesthesia teams. You will address airway support, neuro/cardiac status, and wound care to ensure patient stability during recovery.

The role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours, with scheduling posted in advance and opportunities for mentorship, education support, and career growth.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 60 days of start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• PALS within 60 days of start date.
• RN licensure required.
• ADN/BSN/ diploma in nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative, patient-centered care in PACU.
• Monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications.
• Perform initial wound care and ensure patient stability during recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Assist with on-call duties as discussed in interview.
