Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse in Georgia to care for surgical patients in the immediate postoperative period. The role involves airway management, neurological and cardiac monitoring, wound care, and collaboration with the anesthesia and surgical teams.

On-call hours may be required and scheduling is discussed during interviews. You will work in a supportive environment with leadership that encourages input, professional development, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 1 year of start date
• BLS within 30 days of start date
• PALS within 1 year of start date
• RN credential and licensure required
• RN Diploma or higher

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices.
• Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team with providers, therapy, and more.
• Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor during shift, and document changes and care provided.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment and follow-up.
