St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV is seeking a Special Full Time RN in our PACU department.

The role involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring patient care with nursing staff and other health care professionals, ensuring resources are used effectively and outcomes meet standards within an appropriate length of stay. Responsibilities include documenting justified variations based on patient needs and assisting with nursing unit management.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of current nursing procedures.
• BLS required.
• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of West Virginia or a valid compact state nurse license.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor care with the nursing staff and other health care professionals caring for the patient.
• Ensure resources are used effectively and standards of care and outcomes are met within an appropriate length of stay.
• Ensure variations based on patients’ individual needs are justified and well documented.
• Assist with the management needs of the Nursing Unit.
