Halifax Health ExpressCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit in Daytona Beach, FL. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, directing and coordinating care with LPNs, CNAs, and support staff.

State licensure in Florida is required with BSN preferred and orientation completed. The role emphasizes patient education, collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualificações

• RN license in Florida is required.
• BSN preferred but not mandatory.
• Must complete general and nursing orientation.
• Unit orientation and competency checklist must be completed.
• Annual competency-based learning modules (CBLs) required.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and monitor patients on admission and ongoing.
• Plan and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications per established policies.
• Involve family/significant others in care planning as appropriate.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional appearance per policy.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality improvement initiatives.
