Halifax Health in the United States seeks a Registered Nurse for the PACU to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in alignment with the patient’s needs. The RN will direct and coordinate care provided by LPNs, CNAs, and other staff, ensuring patient safety and timely discharge where appropriate.

The role requires Florida RN licensure and a nursing degree; bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong communication, professionalism, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in Florida.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and families.
• Ability to coordinate care and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Completion of unit/department orientations and competency checklists.

Responsabilités

• Assess the patient on admission and ongoing basis.
• Plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Direct, delegate and coordinate nursing care with LPNs, CNAs, and other staff.
• Initiate teaching for patients and families and support discharge planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications according to policies.
