Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's Community Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for the PACU to provide post-anesthesia care. You will be part of a collaborative perioperative team delivering high-quality patient care and education to patients and families.

The role emphasizes strong clinical judgment, compassionate communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. It offers a 40-hour work week with day shift hours (9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.) and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred; at least 1 year peri-op or critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide safe medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Document accurately in EPIC EMR to ensure continuity of care.
