Job summary

Incredible Health in Jersey City, NJ is hiring for a PACU RN to provide immediate post-operative care across a variety of surgical cases. Shift options include day, night and mid shifts; full-time, part-time and per diem positions are available.

Required ADN or higher, active RN license, 1 year PACU/ICU experience, BLS and ACLS, and strong teamwork with EMR proficiency. Competitive benefits and opportunity to collaborate with surgical teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing required.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year experience in PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work in a team.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to various surgical patients, monitoring vitals and anesthesia-related symptoms.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for smooth patient transitions from OR to PACU to discharge.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with hospital policies.
