The assignment is 13 weeks with day shifts and 9-hour shifts, requiring ACLS/BLS/PALS and a current RN license. Responsibilities include understanding irregular rhythms, potential floating to Post-op or Pre-op when trained, and meeting call requirements during the week and on weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years of PACU experience required.
• Ability to understand irregular rhythms.
• Flexibility to work both Phase 1 and Phase 2 if needed.

Responsibilities

• Post-Anesthesia Care Unit responsibilities with Phase 1 recovery focus.
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 in Phase 1.
• Handle call requirements during week and weekends with 1 hour response time.
• Potential to float to Post-op or Pre-op when trained.
• Scrubs provided; clock in/out at facility.
