Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN for the PACU in California for a 13-week assignment. Day shift with 12-hour shifts. Must have one year of PACU or critical care experience and an active RN license.

Responsibilities include providing post-anesthesia nursing care, ensuring pain and airway management, and rapid response to emergencies. Certifications BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required or obtained within the stated timeframe.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• TNCC within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to surgical patients in preoperative and postoperative periods.
• Ensure pain, bleeding, and nausea control; manage airway and stabilize vitals.
• Respond to emergencies and perform post-anesthesia assessments and care.
• Monitor hemodynamics, interpret ECG rhythms, and determine discharge readiness per PACU standards.
• Follow policy and chain of command; maintain safety and continuous quality improvement.
