Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU. You will provide direct and indirect patient care in the Recovery/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit following the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality during the perioperative period.

The position features a day schedule with 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, plus a 12-week day shift block and nightly on-call every other week from 11 PM to 7 AM.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and current RN licensure.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the PACU using the nursing process.
• Communicates with the healthcare team about patient changes and responses to treatment.
• Reports to the Director of Surgery.
