Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse for a 40-hour week with rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call 11pm-7am. The role supports multiple surgical services in a busy PACU, requiring strong teamwork and critical care readiness.

Candidates should hold a CT RN license, prefer a BSN, and have BLS; ACLS is required for external candidates. ICU experience is a plus. Join Hartford HealthCare’s network delivering high-quality perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative care in PACU
• Initiate IVs, administer medications, educate patients
