Job summary

StoneSprings Hospital Center in Fairfax, VA seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) PACU to ensure high-quality patient-centered care and coordinate unit activities during shifts. You will guide nursing care, serve as a resource to staff, and support the organization’s mission and outcomes.

The CNC collaborates with management to optimize throughput, engage in service improvements, and support staffing, training, and policy adherence for a compliant, patient-first environment.

Qualifications

• RN license and certification in good standing.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within specified timelines.
• Associate degree required; RN with PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes for efficient throughput and high-quality care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of patient care quality with management team.
• Collaborates with experts and managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management per productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and supply management.
