Job summary

StoneSprings Hospital Center in Virginia seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in PACU to lead patient-centered nursing care, coordinate functions on the unit during the shift, and partner with management to drive quality outcomes. The role includes assisting admissions/discharges, staffing, training, interviewing and development, and promoting a patient-first approach with service recovery.

Requires RN license, ADN, PACU experience, and ACLS/BLS within stated windows; full-time with

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications to be obtained within stated windows.
• PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in collaboration with management.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to create teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Oversees staff scheduling and labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Assists in interviewing, selecting, and training new staff and performance evaluations.
