HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the PACU to lead patient-centered care, direct nursing staff, and coordinate unit functions during shifts. The CNC collaborates with the management team to ensure quality outcomes and exemplary service.

The role emphasizes staff development, adherence to policies, and a patient-first philosophy, with ongoing efforts to enhance engagement and clinical performance across the unit.

Formación

• Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse; active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if compact licensure is held.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Previous acute care experience strongly preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read and follow instructions; PC skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit, with management collaboration.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork for improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies to improve engagement, including hourly rounds and staff initiatives.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selection, training, and performance actions to improve the organization.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and helps manage supplies and equipment.
