Job summary

Incredible Health in Wildomar, CA is hiring a PACU RN to provide post-operative care and monitor anesthesia recovery across diverse surgical patients.

Shifts include day, night, and mid; positions available full-time, part-time, and per diem. Ideal candidates have ADN or higher, RN license, PACU/ICU experience, BLS/ACLS, teamwork, and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
