Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a PACU RN in Delray Beach, FL. You will provide post-operative care, monitor vital signs, and support the surgical team through discharge planning.

The role requires ADN/ASN or higher in nursing, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification, with strong communication and EMR proficiency. Shift is day, with options for full-time, part-time or per diem; benefits included.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year experience in PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to surgical patients and monitor vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and teams for smooth patient transition.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
