Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a PACU Registered Nurse in Rock Hill, SC. The role covers day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

You will provide post-anesthesia care, monitor vitals, administer meds, and collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth transitions from the operating room to PACU and discharge home. Requirements include ADN or higher, active RN license, 1 year in PACU/ICU or similar setting preferred, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing
• Active RN license in good standing
• 1 year PACU/ICU or high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate postoperative care and monitor vital signs
• Administer prescribed medications and execute treatment plans
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and teams for patient transitions
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care and discharge
• Maintain accurate documentation per hospital policies

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
