Job summary

Endoscopy ASC of Middle Georgia is hiring a PACU, RN for a full-time, on-site role in Macon, GA. The PACU RN provides continuous nursing care as patients emerge from anesthesia, coordinating with physicians and care teams to ensure safety and comfort.

You will assess patient status, plan care, and implement discharge-ready protocols. Experience in PACU or critical care is preferred, with a strong focus on clinical judgment and clear communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all PACU patients.
• Monitor patient conditions with continual evaluation and ensure safety, comfort and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques as appropriate.
• Provide pre-discharge assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients and families.

PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) at Endoscopy ASC of Middle Georgia. The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge
