Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc in Nashville, TN is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role involves assessing patient conditions and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the recovery process.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years’ experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required, and PALS if required by the center.

Responsibilities

• Continuously evaluate the patient’s condition ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks and conscious sedation.
• Provide comprehensive patient care to those emerging from anesthesia.

Job Title: PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN)

We are a fast‑paced Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) committed to delivering the highest quality care and exceptional experiences for patients and their families.

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, continuously evaluating the patient’s condition and ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
• 2 years’ experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
