Incredible Health is hiring a PACU RN in Commerce Township, MI. The role involves providing immediate post-operative care, monitoring vitals, and managing anesthesia-related symptoms.

You will collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure seamless transitions from OR to PACU and home. Candidates should hold an ADN or higher nursing degree, possess an active RN license, and have BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN required or higher in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to post-surgical patients and monitor vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for smooth patient transitions to PACU and discharge.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital policies.
