Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a PACU RN in Union City, TN to provide critical post-operative care across a range of surgical patients. You will monitor vitals, manage anesthesia-related symptoms, and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure smooth transitions to discharge.

The role supports ongoing patient education on recovery and wound care. The position offers day, night, and mid shifts with options for full-time, part-time, or per diem engagements, along with comprehensive

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
