Job summary

Incredible Health in Grand Blanc, MI is seeking a PACU RN to provide postoperative care across diverse surgical cases, monitor vitals, and coordinate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure smooth transitions from the operating room to the PACU and home.

The role requires an ADN or higher nursing degree, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications with strong teamwork and EMR proficiency. Shifts include day, night, and mid; positions available as full-time, part-time, and per diem.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 1 year experience in a PACU/ICU or similar setting preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing anesthesia-related symptoms
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for seamless OR-to-PACU-to-discharge transition
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies
