Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect specialized nursing care post-anesthesia, coordinating patient care through the postoperative experience.

Qualifications

• Florida RN licensure, BLS, ACLS; PALS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year PACU experience and 1 year ICU/ER experience.
• Days shift; full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and growth and development needs of the patient.
• Develops a plan of care using assessment data.
• Plan of care is individualized to include specific patient problems and needs.
• Implements nursing plan of care on assigned patients.
• Evaluates the patient's response to nursing interventions and teaching.
• Demonstrates leadership skills.
