Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect specialized nursing care post-anesthesia, coordinating patient care through the postoperative experience.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and ideally PALS, with 1 year PACU and ICU/ER experience. Working days, full-time, with comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities through Tenet Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care using assessment data.
• Plan of care is individualized to include specific patient problems and needs.
• Implements nursing plan of care on assigned patients.
• Evaluates the patient's response to nursing interventions and teaching.
• Demonstrates leadership skills.

The Professional Registered Nurse gives direct and indirect specialized nursing care to patients after receiving anesthetic agents. The nurse in the post anesthesia role coordinates the care of the patient, is the patient advocate throughout the post operative experience. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
