TSAOG Orthopaedics & Spine is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). You will care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery, monitor vitals, administer medications, and educate families on post-operative care.

Collaboration with surgeons and the nursing team is essential to ensure safe, effective recovery. The role requires an RN license, BLS and ACLS, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Experience in PACU, critical care, or similar nursing environment preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and post-anesthesia condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess recovery progress and manage complications.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care.
• Collaborate with surgical team and other clinicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and progress.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
