The position requires a nursing degree, licensure, 1-2 years acute care preferred, and comfort with electronic documentation. Shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays with call, within Jefferson Regional Nursing Departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school program required.
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the hospital setting.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to care team and physicians.
• Delegate duties and direct staff to ensure safe, effective care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and nurse leadership to optimize care delivery.
