Job summary

Jefferson Regional Med Ctr in Pine Bluff, AR, seeks a Registered Nurse for PACU coverage on a full-time days schedule. The RN provides direct and indirect patient care, collaborates with physicians and the nursing team, and responds rapidly to changing patient conditions while ensuring safe, effective post-anesthesia recovery.

Requires nursing program graduation and a current license; experience in acute care and electronic documentation is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required, nursing program graduation.
• Graduate from accredited nursing program required.
• Technical in Nursing required; BSN/ASN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in hospital setting.
• Communicate with physicians and care teams about changes in patient condition.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and treatment responses.
• Delegate duties and supervise staff within unit as needed.
• Ensure appropriate utilization of resources and documentation of care.
