Job summary

Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, TX is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to deliver immediate post-operative care, monitor airway, neuro and cardiac status, and respond to complications. You will collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams and provide initial wound care while ensuring patient stability during recovery.

This role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours and requires ACLS/BLS/PALS within specified timelines; RN license and appropriate degrees are

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 6 months of employment start date.
• RN: Registered Nurse with nursing degree or diploma.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered post-anesthesia care.
• Manage airway support and monitor neurological and cardiac status.
• Respond promptly to complications and document care thoroughly.
• Provide initial wound care and collaborate with surgical/anesthesia teams.
• On-call availability during select non-business hours.
