Qualifications

• 1+ year of Critical Care nursing experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as an RN by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to care for and counsel individuals toward health promotion and illness prevention.
• Delegate, coordinate and manage all aspects of nursing care provided to the patient and family.
• Deliver patient care in collaboration with the health care team and licensed physicians.
