Qualifications

• Direct patient care in post-anesthesia recovery.
• Assessment of patient responses to treatments and interventions.
• Maintain aseptic technique per standards (AORN/ASPAN).
• Provide effective pain management and comfort.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program; licensure required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for anesthetized patients in post-operative or post-procedural recovery.
• Follow aseptic sterile technique according to standards.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions.
• Manage patient pain.
• Anticipate case-specific needs based on procedures and pathophysiology.
