Job summary

You will provide safe, patient-centered care and support the team while maintaining stroke care proficiency. Responsibilities include stroke alert recognition, NIHSS assessment, and ongoing professional development through required training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Florida nursing license and active certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Ability to deliver safe, patient-centered care in PACU.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with hospital policies.
• Demonstrate leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Recognize stroke signs, initiate stroke alert, and perform NIHSS as needed.
• Maintain currency in stroke care via annual online training.
