Job summary
Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Day Shift to deliver safe, high-quality patient care on a busy unit. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, monitor and respond to acute patient needs, and participate in stroke care processes as part of our commitment to excellence.
The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN license, BLS cert, ACLS or equivalent, and has experience in acute care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
- BLS (current upon hire).
- ACLS, and/or required specialty training or course completion (or obtained within three months of employment) in required specialty.
- Current Florida nursing license.
Responsibilities
- Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy.
- Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
- Demonstrates Patient Centered Care as the foundation for all nursing activities.
- Maintains currency in stroke knowledge and participates in required training.
