Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Palm Beach County is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care, manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications. You will collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams and educate patients and families throughout recovery.

The role emphasizes on-call availability during select hours, a focus on evidence-based practice, and opportunities to contribute to ongoing quality improvement

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse credential.
• Associate Degree in nursing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered post-operative care.
• Monitor neurological and cardiac status and respond to changes.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and follow-up.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams and participate in on-call rotations.
• Apply evidence-based practices and contribute to quality improvement.
