Job summary
Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the PACU in a full-time day shift. You will provide safe, competent nursing care, support the healthcare team, and uphold our patient-centered care philosophy in a busy post-anesthesia setting.
The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 3 months. PACU experience is preferred, and the hospital offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within the UHS
Qualifications
- RN licensure in Florida is required.
- BGPS (BLS) certification must be current on hire.
- ACLS certification current on hire; PALS within 3 months of hire.
- PACU experience is preferred; acute care experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, competent nursing care for PACU patients.
- Lead and support the healthcare team in patient care.
- Recognize and respond to stroke alerts and perform NIHSS assessments.
- Maintain currency in stroke knowledge with annual online training.
- Demonstrate service excellence and professionalism in daily duties.
