Job summary

Ascension Health in Sapulpa is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the PACU team on a full-time day shift. You will provide perioperative care, monitor patient responses, and collaborate with anesthesia and surgical staff to ensure safe recovery from procedures.

The role requires a nursing diploma or higher, Oklahoma RN licensure, and life-support certifications with a preference for Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Occasional travel to other Ascension facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse credential from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
• Advanced Life Support within 180 days of hire; BLS within 30 days.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows aseptic sterile technique according to AORN/ASPAN standards.
• Evaluates patient's responses to treatments and interventions.
• Manages patient's pain.
• Anticipates case-specific needs based on procedures and pathophysiology.
