Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse for PACU. The RN will implement the nursing care plan, follow physician orders, and ensure patient safety and privacy in all procedures. Requires current Texas RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS within 30 days of hire.

The role emphasizes post-anesthesia care, pain management, and collaboration with surgeons and PACU/pre-op teams in a high-volume surgical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN License required.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care within RN scope according to hospital policies and physician orders.
• Plans, implements and evaluates nursing care based on patient needs and physician orders.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations.
• Educates patients and families; documents education provided.
