Job summary

USPI/Baylor Scott & White Trophy Club seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse in the PACU to deliver high-quality perioperative care. You will implement nursing plans, monitor patient status, and ensure safety and comfort from admission through recovery.

Responsibilities include fast response to emergencies, patient education, and collaboration with surgical teams in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license required; BLS, ACLS and PALS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care within RN scope and hospital policy.
• Implements and evaluates nursing care plans and orders.
• Responds quickly to emergencies and manages perioperative care.
• Documents patient progress and provides education to patient/family.
• Cross-trains between Pre-Op and PACU as requested.
