Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Garland is hiring a Registered Nurse for Preop/PACU. The role provides continuity and quality nursing care for patients, supports anesthesia emergence, and collaborates with physicians in the procedure rooms.

This position is weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, nights, or calls. Requirements include graduating from an accredited RN program, active Texas RN license, BLS and ACLS; PALS if required; and 2 years in PACU or critical care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of PACU or Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients in PreOp/PACU.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile technique.
• Deliver total care to patients emerging from anesthesia and prepare for discharge.
