Job summary

StoneSprings Hospital Center is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care for surgical patients. You will monitor airway, neuro and cardiac status, respond to complications, perform initial wound care, and collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams. On-call hours may apply.

You will work in a supportive leadership environment with RN float pools and unit leaders, ensuring your input shapes patient care decisions and improves outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• RN license and Registered Nurse qualifications required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices.
• Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team including providers and therapy staff.
• Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor changes, and document care thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
