Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care for surgical patients. Responsibilities include airway management, neuro/cardiac monitoring, wound care, and collaboration with the surgical and anesthesia teams.

The role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours and opportunities to influence patient care through hospital councils and nursing initiatives. Comprehensive benefits are provided by the organization.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN license must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Associate degree in nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered PACU care following surgical procedures.
• Monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status and respond to complications.
• Apply nursing process, clinical judgment and leadership independently.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and follow-up.
