Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a PACU RN to work onsite in Anchorage, AK for a 13-week contract. Day shift, 36 hours per week (3x12). Start ASAP with guaranteed 60 hours per two weeks and a schedule of 0700–2300 options.

AK RN license required in hand for Auto Offer, with licensure process to be completed within 48 hours of signing. Responsibilities include post-anesthesia care, venous/arterial monitoring, IV therapies, and rapid response to clinical changes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience is required.
• AK RN license must be in hand for Auto Offer.
• Licensure pending; AK RN license must be in hand within 48 hours of signing and submittal of license application.

Responsibilities

• Provide PACU nursing care for post-anesthesia patients.
• Monitor vitals and recovery status.
• Administer medications per protocol and manage pain control.

Location: Anchorage, OK

Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hrs/week
Job details:

License pending ok. Must be able to complete AK RN license application within 48 hours of signing (including submitting FPs, app fee, license application submittal).
Must have AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer.

Variable shifts include:
0700-1900, 0800-2000, 0900-2100, 1000-2200, 1100-2300

Is on-call REQ: Yes - 6 calls per 8 Week Period
-Nurses are required to be at the hospital within 30 minutes of being called. Call sleep rooms are available for those who live far away or prefer to stay on site.
-There are some dayshift call shifts, but these are usually claimed very quickly. As a result, nurses may choose only one Sunday 0630–1900 call shift and only one Sunday 1000–1900 call shift.
Weekend REQ:Weekend coverage for on-call
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs?: Yes- could float to like units within skillset
Open to accommodating block schedule?: No
Locals Accepted: No - Candidates perm address must be at least 50 miles from facility
Pending License Accepted: Yes, but must have license in hand for Auto Offer
RTO Restrictions: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. All RTO must be included in submittal
Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks
Must has AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer.
