• Higher-acuity patient care in PACU under Charge Nurse and Supervisor.

Job Description

Day Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week

Title: Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia
Duration: 14 weeks
Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30342
Schedule: Days Shift, 12*3 36hours/week

• Unit: PACU - Ground Floor

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-10:30 PM

• Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience

• Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS & NIHSS required

• EMR: Cerner experience required

• Unit Coverage: Open 24/7; holiday coverage provided through call

• Case Experience: Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology & General Surgery

• Patient Acuity: Higher-acuity cases

• Unit Structure: Overseen by Charge Nurse and Supervisor

• Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays:

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Christmas Day

  • New Year’s Day

• Minor Holiday: Must work 1:

  • Friday after Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve

  • New Year’s Eve
