Job summary

Intermountain Region ASCs is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Recovery Room (PACU) in a same-day surgery setting. The RN will monitor post-anesthesia patients, administer medications, document care, and ensure proper charging and supply use according to physician orders and facility policies.

The role requires a Nursing degree, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills are essential to support patient-centered recovery and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license.
• AHA BLS Certification.
• AHA ACLS Certification.
• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care for post-operative patients.
• Monitor and document patients' physical and mental status during recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Verify physician orders prior to administration.
• Knowledge of actions and potential side effects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor postoperative patient status.

• Discharge patients according to policy.
• Admit patients to recovery area as needed.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
