Saline Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to guide patients through immediate recovery after surgery. You will perform focused assessments, monitor vital signs, manage pain, and collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure safe, comfortable recoveries.

The role requires an active RN license and an associate degree, with BLS, ACLS, or PALS (ACLS/PALS within 6 months).

Formación

• Current state or compact state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain ACLS/PALS within 6 months).

Responsabilidades

• Performs duties as assigned and requested.
• Completes focused patient assessments and reassessments based on condition and treatments.
• Manages pain assessments and analgesia using appropriate techniques.
• Educates patients and families on disease processes and recovery expectations.
• Ensures patient safety and accurate medication administration.
• Assists physicians with procedures and uses technical skills as needed.
