Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a dedicated RN - Recovery to supervise postoperative care in a same-day surgery setting. You will support physicians, manage medications, and ensure patient safety during recovery.

Required are an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. The role emphasizes careful charge management, patient privacy, and collaborative care with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Assesses, develops and implements total nursing care for post-operative patients.
• Records and reports symptoms, reactions and changes in patients' conditions.
• Administers medications and treatments ordered by physicians.
• Maintains patient and employee privacy and confidentiality.
• Provides psychological support to patients and families.
• Maintains rapport with physicians and other departments providing care.

Responsibilities

• Assists in provision of nursing care to post-operative patients.
• Monitors and controls use of supplies and charging for items.
• Admits patients to sit-up area awaiting recovery.
• Performs routine charging of medications and supplies.
• Functions independently in emergency situations.
