Job summary

Qualifications

• New York State Registered Professional License and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State required.
• B.S. degree preferred and must be obtained if hired.
• Associate’s degree required.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.
• Previous experience working in the PACU or similar specialty required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of nursing practice per ANA Code of Ethics and MMC guidelines.
• Coordinate, implement and deliver care to PACU patients.
• Participate in performance improvement/research activities and demonstrate leadership skills.
