St. Joseph's Health in New York seeks a part-time PACU nurse for the Day Shift at our Northeast Surgery Center. This per diem role supports post-anesthesia recovery, monitors patients, applies dressings, and assists with procedures.

You will work with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and RNs to deliver safe, high-quality care. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, NY RN licensure, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure, or eligibility for licensure, in the State of New York.
• BSN Preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year acute clinical, med surge or ICU experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and deliver care for patients in the post anesthesia recovery phase.
• Assist with procedures and care modalities including cardioversion, ECT, line insertion, complex wound care, and care of critically ill patients in PACU.
• Nursing staff supports patient care in all phases including pre induction, perioperative, intraoperative and post anesthesia.
• Collaborative team approach, coordinate and direct care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, clinical affiliates, and RNs.

Formation

RN licensure in NY

BSN preferred

1 year acute clinical, med-surg or ICU experience preferred
