Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital in California seeks a Clinical Staff PACU Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient-centered care in the post-anesthesia unit.

The role requires detailed nursing processes, SBAR hand-offs, and active involvement in the Watson Model of Care. The successful candidate will demonstrate core nursing skills, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and support the hospital's mission and core values while working under the Clinical Unit Supervisor.

Formación

• Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing preferred.
• Associates degree in nursing required.
• Minimum of one year clinical nursing experience in Critical Care nursing.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates nursing processes as a problem solving model and plans to meet patient/family needs.
• Assessments targeted to patient population; recognizes changes and adjusts care.
• Prioritizes and organizes patient care; ensures follow-through with planned care.
• Provides care appropriate to age and needs of patients on the unit; uses Watson model.
• Maintains SBAR communication during hand-offs; documents IPOC and care outcomes.
• Participates in discharge planning and coordinates interdisciplinary care.

Basic computer skills

BLS certification

ACLS certification

CPI training

Educación
