Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the PACU at Southwest Riverside County facilities. The role provides direct patient care, monitors vital signs and patient safety during recovery, assists with transport, and supports the post-operative team.

The PCT documents care in the EMR, recognizes condition changes, and participates in emergency response. This position helps maintain a safe, well-stocked PACU environment and contributes to high-quality perioperative

Qualifications

• California CNA certificate or EMT certification required.
• BLS through American Heart Association required.
• Dysrhythmia certification preferred or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Six (6) months’ EMT/CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and essential clinical support to the PACU team; monitor vital signs and observe cardiac rhythms.
• Assist with patient transport, safety measures, and comfort during recovery.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record; recognize and report changes in patient condition.
• Support emergency response as needed and help maintain a safe, well-stocked PACU environment.
