Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, CA, is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support the PACU team with monitoring vital signs, assisting with recovery, and ensuring patient safety. The role requires current California Certified Nurse Assistant or EMT, BLS through the American Heart Association, and preferred dysrhythmia certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Six months EMT/CNA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate or California EMT.
• Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
• Basic dysrhythmia certification preferred or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and observe cardiac rhythms in PACU.
• Assist with patient transport and ensure safety during recovery.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and report changes promptly.
• Support emergency response as needed and maintain a safe, well-stocked PACU environment.
